Range Rover P38 - 1994 to 2001 EAS Emergency Manual Inflation Device Never be left on the bump-stops again The Range Rover air suspension system carries out a self diagnostic test when the ignition is first switched on and then continues to monitor the air suspension throughout any journey. If a fault develops, a'fault code' is stored in the ECU and depending on the severity of the fault the suspension may be automatically shutdown and the vehicle lowered onto the bump stops. Any one who has experienced this in the past will know at very best your in for a very slow and bumpy ride home. We have developed a simple to fit emergency inflation device which allows you to manually re-inflate your air suspension when it goes wrong. This system can either be used inline, so it's fitted & ready to be used when needed or you can be kept in the boot and only connect it if and when needed.
Fitting time is about 15 minutes and providing your suspension air springs are not damaged you can re-inflate them using a standard garage forecourt airline or even a small 12 volt electric pump.
