Range Rover P38 Diesel Spares or Repair

  
Thanks for looking at my much loved P38 which I've owned since Nov 2014. I've had 4 of these cars over the last 15 years and this has been the best and most reliable of them. It has the best colour and interior combination of Oxford Blue with Lightstone Nappa leather. The Nappa leather really makes the interior more luxurious and the seats are the most comfortable I've had in any Land Rover.

Until late last year everything had been working perfectly in the car, then it started throwing up issues on the dashboard. The first thing was a "Gearbox Overheating" warning, but this was happening as soon as I started the car from cold so it can only be the sensor which is located in the coolant radiator. Then the air suspension fault message started coming on intermittently. The suspension works perfectly, in fact a couple of years ago I replaced all the airbags as they were showing signs of wear, but when the message comes on the suspension stays at normal ride height and doesn't adjust for your speed so it's still driveable, it's just a niggling message on the dash. The latest issue is the common "ABS" & "Traction Control" failure messages, which sometimes come on and sometimes don't.

I've looked after this car over the last 7 years and I've spent a lot on it replacing parts when necessary. Last year I renewed the headlining when it started to sag and I've installed LED lamps in the interior lights so it's really bright inside at night when the doors are opened. I love these cars, but it's been on a SORN since last winter and I don't have the time or equipment to do the repairs and get it back on the road so I think it's time to say goodbye.
